Red Cross Blood Drive – Summer 2023
DPC will be hosting a Blood Drive for the American Red Cross on Thursday, August 17 from 11 am – 4 pm. The Red Cross’s blood supply is critically low, and they are desperately in need of donations of all blood types. The process takes about 45 minutes from start to finish.
The Red Cross is offering everyone who donates a coupon for a free coffee and wake up wrap from Dunkin Donuts. If that isn’t enough of an incentive, did you know that:
- One blood donation can save up to three lives.
- Someone needs blood in the United States every 2 seconds
- 20% of blood recipients are children, many are cancer patients.
