College-Age Connection

Supporting, encouraging, and staying connected with our college-age members.
Life after high school is an exciting new chapter, but being away from home and your community can be lonely at times. DPC’s College-Age Connection (formerly known as the Church Mouse program) is a special way for our church community to connect with students after high school whether they are attending college or in the military. It is a way to remind them that they are loved and being covered in prayer and that they will always have a church home.
Each young person is matched with a member of our church family who stays in touch throughout the years they are in school or the military. During the year, the member will periodically send their students a little care package filled with treats or thoughtful surprises. Notes of prayer and encouragement can be sent at any time. Consider reaching out to your student when they are home as well – grab a coffee or seek them out at church to help build a deeper relationship.
It’s a simple way to let our college-age community know: “You are still part of our church family. We are thinking of you, and praying for you!”
