Juneteenth 2025
Juneteenth. DPC and the Matthew 25 Subcommittee are once again proud to sponsor this wonderful community gathering outside the Mercer Museum on June 14 from 12 to 3 pm. This event commemorates the anniversary of the date in 1865, when the last enslaved people in the United States learned that they had been freed. We will celebrate this occasion with speakers, a DJ, food trucks, vendors and artisans, and family-friendly crafts and activities. The event is free to the public and will be held rain or shine. We encourage you to experience this unique time of unity and learning together!
