James A. Michener: The Man & His Legacy

Join us for an inside look at the man behind the museum – James A. Michener.

This special virtual presentation pulls back the curtain on the formation of Doylestown’s cultural institution as we are given a glimpse of Michener’s early life and his time serving in the South Pacific during WWII, to his rise in the literary world to become one of Bucks County’s premiere internationally known authors.

DPC members and friends will be guided through this informative and entertaining experience by Michener Art Museum Docent Kathleen Ambrogi, who has taught Art, Literature, and Information Technology in the U.S. and abroad.

The presentation can be enjoyed from the comfort of your home by logging into Zoom at 11 am on Thursday, January 17.

The cost is just $5 per person and those who register will be emailed the Zoom link the day prior to the presentation.
