2027 Generosity Campaign
The ministries of DPC strive to be part of 5 different categories: Worship, Faith Formation, Mission/Outreach, Congregational Care and Fellowship. All these parts help us to be a bridge for Christ and a beacon of His love at DPC, in our community, and in the world. Our total budget for 2026 is $1,729,980. The chart below helps to show how the total current budget fits into these categories.
As you prayerfully consider making your 2027 Estimate of Giving to DPC, think about proportional giving (10%, 5%, 2.5%, etc.) based on your weekly and/or annual income. This allows you to gift a percentage of God’s resources, and if led to, faithfully increase your giving.
Why does DPC want me to return an Estimate of Giving card?
The number of participating households (regardless of amount) is an important way of showing commitment to DPC. We are completely reliant on the generosity of members and friends to support Christ’s ministry. Knowing what people estimate to give helps us budget our resources effectively over the course of a year.
Why are we also asked to give of our time and talents?
A volunteer audit was completed and showed that our members dedicated approximately 41,865 hours in a year. This is equivalent to two full-time employees! We can’t be who we are today (and in the future) without you!
How can I give to DPC?
- Check or cash
- Online through our website
- Online bill pay (contact your bank and have them send a check)
- IRA direct distribution or stock donation (please consult your tax professional)
How much is the 2026 operating budget?
Our budget is $1.7 million, of which 10% goes toward mission support.
What happens if my situation changes and I need to adjust my estimate?
We understand that your situation can change at any time. You can contact the office to adjust your commitment, if needed, at any time during the year.
Is my estimate confidential?
Yes. Only the Director of Finances and Operations has access to individual Estimate of Giving amounts for accounting purposes. The pastoral staff and Generosity Committee only see aggregate totals.
