Singing Choirs

Join A Choir! It’s never too late to think about singing or ringing in one of our vocal or bell choirs. We have groups for all ages and skill levels. Do you play an instrument? Our orchestra is also looking for members and would welcome you!  Many of us have heard the phrase, “Music is two times prayer.” Why not offer your musical talents to praise God and “make a joyful noise unto the Lord”? Questions? Contact Bev Fulgham (215-348-3531, ext 230).

Vocal music is at the heart of our Music Ministry. We offer a variety of singing opportunities for all (ages 4 and up).

Sunshine Singers (Age 4 - Kindergarten)

For our youngest singers, this group will learn fun, interactive songs as they are introduced to music and singing.  Rehearsals are Wednesdays from 4:15 to 5:00 p.m. in Andrews Hall, room 107.  Directed by Geri McMullin.

Alleluia Choir (Grades 1, 2 & 3)

This choir further introduces the children to choral singing, training them to sing together and to sing songs that are slightly more involved.  Rehearsals are Wednesdays from 4:15 to 5:00 p.m. in Andrews Hall, room 3, with snack in the gym from 4:00 to 4:15 (a $15 fee covers snack for the whole year).  Directed by Doris Kodikian.

Chapel Choir (Grades 4, 5 & 6)

In this choir the children take on more difficult songs and begin to learn to sing in two-part harmonies.  Rehearsals are Wednesdays from 4:15 to 5:00 p.m. in Andrews Hall, room 205, with snack in the gym from 4:00 to 4:15 (a $15 fee covers snack for the whole year).  The children are then invited to join Club 456.  Directed by Janet Fryling.

Youth Choir (Grades 7 - 12)

The Youth Choir sings increasingly involved songs with three- and four-part harmonies.  This is a great opportunity for young people to develop themselves as singers in a fun environment.  The Youth Choir also hosts an evening concert every spring.  Rehearsals are Wednesdays from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the choir room, followed by element from 7:00 - 9:00 (which includes dinner).  Directed by Bev Fulgham.

Chancel Choir (Adults)

This choir is the mainstay of our music leadership in worship.  Join a community of people who love music and love to offer their gifts to God in worship.  Rehearsals are Thursdays from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. in the choir room.  Directed by Bev Fulgham.
