John M. Willingham

Our Mission

Be a bridge for Christ and a beacon of His love.

Our Vision

Our vision is to be a growing community of disciples engaged in worship, service, and care.

What We Believe

Rather than ascribing to a single confessional statement, the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) has a Book of Confessions, a collection of statements from over the course of the Church's long history. Each statement offers a glimpse of the Church faithfully living out its calling in a particular time and place. We are guided by these witnesses while at the same time we affirm that confessional documents are subordinate standards, subject to the authority of Jesus Christ, the Word of God, as the Scriptures bear witness to him.

Our worship services take place at 8:30 and 11 every Sunday morning in the Sanctuary (9:30 service from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend) . The nursery is available during both services for children through age 3, and Children's Worship Time is available for children between age 4 and 1st grade.

Between services, the Sacred Grounds Café (a time for fellowship and coffee) takes place in the Fellowship Hall (the Andrews Hall gymnasium). Andrews Hall is located across Mechanics Street from the Sanctuary building. We also have Church School classes for all ages (even adults) from 9:45 to 10:30. Follow these links for more information for Children, Youth and Adults.  During summer months, there is no education hour between services, and instead of having our Sacred Grounds Café in the Fellowship Hall, lemonade is served in the church yard following both services.
