Scheduled Listening Sessions
A letter was mailed recently from John Willingham alerting them to a series of listening sessions which will take place at various locations in August. Those gatherings will serve as our feasibility study for a possible capital campaign and will be led by Alan Wildes, the consultant secured by Session to support us in this effort. Alan is a senior consultant with Generis, a firm that specializes in providing stewardship and fundingraising counsel for churches. Each session will last approximnately one hour. During these gatherings of 15 to 20 fellow members, Alan will seek to learn more about the group, your feelings about our church, and what you know about the facility plans that are ahead. He will then summarize the insights shared at those gatherings and make his recommendation to your church officers regarding the congregation's readiness to proceed with a capital campaign in the Spring of 2009.
